Marcus Lemonis & Camping World - Thank you for everything you have you have done with and for NASCAR and especially with the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series!
That being said, all good things must come to an end (some people say apparently).
CEO of Camping World, Marcus Lemonis, announced Wednesday evening that Camping World would not return as sponsor of the NASCAR Truck Series in 2023.
“What an amazing opportunity it’s been. 14 years, over 30 race entitlements, over 35 drivers sponsored and some of the best fans one could wish for. Thank you NASCAR,” Lemonis shared.
While the twitter "announcement" surprised some, this has been rumored for quite a while and there may already be a replacement in the works. It may even be a brand that has quite a history with the series, Craftsman.
Craftsman sponsored the series from 1996 through 2008. The series then became the Camping World Truck Series. The company shifted it’s branding to the Gander RV / Outdoors naming for two seasons before returning to the Camping World Truck Series name last season.
While much is rumor and speculation at this time, the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series certainly has a nice and familiar ring to it.
